Allen Gannett
Allen Gannett is a best-selling author, entrepreneur, investor, and speaker focusing on “the art of growth”. His first book, “The Creative Curve: How to Develop the Right Idea, at the Right Time”, was published in 2018 and has been widely recognized as “the creative entrepreneur’s bible.” His writing has since featured in the Harvard Business Review and the Wall Street Journal. Gannett had the unique experience of starting a multi-million dollar company from his college dorm room and has since spoken at top universities such as Stanford and Harvard and boot camps like Techstars and Y combinator.
At the young age of 22, Gannett founded and scaled TrackMaven, a leading marketing analytics platform. First starting in his freshman dorm room of the George Washington University, he and his team grew TrackMaven to a multi-million dollar company in four short years. Included in his accomplishments was receiving investment from notable venture capital firms Revolution Growth, Neal Dempsey and Grotech Ventures and the angel investor Gary Vaynerchuck. In addition to being a speaker and author, Allen has been a venture capitalist since 2012 and is the founder of Aurora, a private venture fund. Aurora invests in early-stage companies with high potential and spirit and is known for making non-traditional investments such as investing in a high school student’s startup specializing in plant-based medicine. Gannett continues to serve as an advisor to various startups, an executive for the Solutions for Youth Employment, and the co-founder of GrowthTRAC.
