Blake Snyder
Blake Snyder is an American author who is best known for his book Save the Cat! The Last Book on Screenwriting You'll Ever Need. He is a celebrated international speaker, author, lecturer and consultant in the film, television and video game industries.
Snyder was born in 1951 in Baltimore, Maryland. He grew up in Baltimore and graduated in 1972 from Goucher College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in theater directing. He then attended the University of Iowa Writers Workshop, graduating with a Master of Fine Arts degree in Playwriting in 1976. After graduation, Snyder wrote two feature films and performed creative services on over a dozen productions.
