Daniel Ingram

Daniel Ingram is a popular contemporary American author who has written a host of best-selling fiction and non-fiction books, most notably his debut novel, Snow Angel. The prior monk and meditation teacher has been described as a “spiritual entrepreneur” and “enlightened outlaw” and his works often explore and discuss spiritual, philosophical and self-improvement themes.

Ingram was born and raised in the United States and after high school, he decided to pursue a career in Buddhist meditation and practice. During his journey of meditation and philosophy, Ingram encountered and experienced a variety of spiritual awakenings which would shape his writing and outlook on life.

Ingram's first major published work was “Snow Angel” – a coming-of-age novel and modern-day parable that interweaves spiritual themes such as self-transformation, freedom and connectedness. The book tells the story of young protagonist Ty, and his journey to discovering himself and the perspective to see through all the illusions in the world. The narrative follows Ty’s life as he confronts an abusive father, falls in love, deals with racism and further realizes his true power as a human being.

After the great critical and commercial success of Snow Angel, Ingram followed-up his debut with several philosophical and self-improvement books including “Mastery of Your Life” and “Love, Freedom and the Spiritual Pathway.” His book, “Mastery of Your Life”, explores various spiritual and life philosophies and practices in order to help individuals find true liberation and authentic manifestation of life in the current society. Ingram believes that one is most powerful when living in simple joy, in alignment with inner truth and transcending external superficialities.

In addition to his non-fiction works, Ingram wrote three additional novels, “Subtext”, “Underdogs” and “The Leap.” Each book tackles a variety of spiritual and philosophical themes akin to Snow Angel.

Outside of his own works, Ingram is also a leader in exploring and expressing meditation techniques. His podcast, “Real Talk”, dives deep into the nuances of meditation and the process of manifesting individual truth both within and without while “The Mindful Misfit” podcast explores the nuts and bolts of how to live a conscious life.

Ingram's work has changed the lives of many, providing a platform for others to contemplate the true meaning of life, find peace and understand that individual liberation will come through focusing on personal relationships with the world and other people. Ingram’s combination of contemporary themes, unique characters and exceptional plot lines engage readers and encourages true spiritual awakenings.

Overall, Daniel Ingram is a respected author who has captivated readers with his thoughtful works of fiction and non-fiction. His books explore spiritual meditation and the awakening of selves, people relationships and power and will continue to pull in emotionally and spiritually engaged readers for years to come.
