Gary C. Halbert
Gary C. Halbert is an author of dozens of books that span multiple genres. He has written speculative fiction, science fiction, fantasy, horror, and thrillers. His books have been translated into nine different languages and sold in over thirty countries.
Gary C. Halbert was born in Madison, Wisconsin, and after receiving his degree in Literature and Creative Writing from Rutgers University, he began writing full-time. His first novel, "The Staggered Path," was published in 2004. This was followed by several further commercial successes including the epic fantasy series "Clanfear of Rannarok," the “Lakeside Stories” trilogy, and the contemporary thriller “Mirrors of the Mind”.
Halbert writes in a style that combines a level of lyrical prose with an intense attention to descriptive detail. He is able to effectively bridge the gap between fantasy, horror, and thrillers, often with unexpected results. His books have wide appeal and have been popular with both adult and young adult readers.
In addition to his published works, Halbert has written a number of screenplays.
