Her fourth novel, Gone Baby Gone, is a perfect companion to her best-selling Gone Girl. It follows the abduction of an infant and the terrifying, lingering effects of its disappearance. Along with her early works and those of her more recent years, Flynn has cemented herself as a global author. Her books have been translated into more than three dozen foreign languages and taught in universities around the world. Flynn’s works are now part of the permanent archive at the Library of Congress, ensuring that her legacy will remain undying and celebrated.
When discussing television adaptions, Flynn’s projects have been found throughout highly regarded platforms. Her miniseries Utopia, adapted from the British drama of the same name, released to HBO in October 2020. Flynn served as an executive producer and screenwriter for the series and instantly became a hit. Alongside her vast list of accolades, Flynn has provided a self-written introduction to her recent book, The Best American Mysteries of the Century.
