James Crabtree
James Crabtree is an English writer and journalist, known for his books and articles about India, business and the arts. He has published three novels, including his debut, The Summer of Impossible Things, and two non-fiction works, Future Perfect: How India Is Transforming Itself and Millionaire Raj: A Journey Through India’s New Gilded Age.
Born in 1977 in South London, James quickly developed a passion for storytelling. As a student, he wrote for newspapers and magazines, and in 2003 he moved to India to pursue a career as a journalist. He worked for the Guardian and The Economist, covering the country’s emerging business elite.
