Jason Koop
Jason Koop is an author, coach, and podcast host who has dedicated his life to helping others reach their full potential. Koop was born in the United States and grew up in Knoxville, Tennessee, where he enjoyed outdoor activities such as hiking, camping and cross-country skiing. As an adult, he moved to Colorado and earned a degree in exercise science at Colorado Mesa University. After graduation, he continued to pursue his passion in endurance sports and became a professional ultrarunner and mountain bike racer. Koop later turned to coaching, leading different athletic training programs for individuals and teams.
Through his experiences as a professional athlete, coach and enthusiastic learner of sports science and nutrition, Koop found himself combining his knowledge to help educate others on how to maximize their physical performance. During this journey, he wrote two books:Train Smarter, Race Faster and The Endurance Athlete's Guide to Performance.
