John Crowley

John Crowley is an acclaimed author whose works of fantasy, science fiction, and other genres have earned him multiple honors, including the National Book Award, the World Fantasy Award, and the Locus Award. Though he has written several novels, he has also written many short stories, plays, and essays, as well as a science-fiction novel, The Chemical Wedding. Crowley also wrote a sequel to Little, Big in 1986, called Ægypt.

In 1996, Crowley published what is arguably his most acclaimed work, The Chemical Wedding. This novel follows a scientist whose work with a mysterious element leads him to a fantastic world ruled by individual imagination. The novel is considered to be Crowley's best, and earned him a further nomination for the World Fantasy Award.

In addition to his novels, Crowley has also written many short stories. These include stories about his home state of Maine, Celtic folklore and the fantastic, and animals. Many of his stories have earned him great accolades, and his work is considered to be both thought-provoking and imaginative.
