Jonathan Rosenberg

Jonathan Rosenberg is a New York Times bestselling author who has written a series of books that range from thrillers to fantasy works to novels. He has a long-standing career as a ghostwriter, scriptwriter, and professor at Montclair State University.

Rosenberg was born in New Jersey, where he grew up with a strong love for literature and the written word. After graduating from the University of Michigan with a degree in communications, he made his way to New York where he began to pursue a career in entertainment and publishing. Throughout his early career, he wrote for television and scripted film adaptations, working on various projects for movie studios. He faced considerable challenges early in his career, staying resilient and eventually launching his own career as a successful author.

Rosenberg is widely respected as a multi-genre author and master storyteller. His most widely known novel is The Girl in the Wall, which follows a young woman locked in an attic by her father and her journey to break free. It was Rosenberg's first novel and won the prestigious Romance Writers of America (RWA) Prism Award. His next novel, Dark Passage, tells the story of a seemingly rare murder in a small beach town and its aftermath. This was a two-time RWA Prism Award-winning work. He also wrote a novel called Always Forever, which combines gothic horror and romance genres, as well as another acclaimed novel entitled What It Is.

Rosenberg’s novels have been translated into numerous languages and published in various countries around the world, and his works have also been adapted for stage and screen. A recent project of his involved the creation of the comic book series My Monster and Me. Rosenberg was also the recipient of the Dr. Perry Prize from the International Reading Association for best children’s fiction.

In addition to his published works, Rosenberg has also taught graduate courses in popular fiction as a professor at Montclair State University, and has presented at various writing conferences such as the Tucson Festival of Books, Orion Writers’ Conference, and San Miguel Writers’ Conference. He has offered helpful advice to aspiring authors and regularly blogs about the art of writing.
