Kathleen Spears
Kathleen Spears is an acclaimed author of both fiction and non-fiction books. A resident of Missouri, she has written a number of novels that deal with social issues, drawing largely on her personal experiences as a single mother and LGBT+ rights advocate. Her works have been praised for their in-depth exploration of the colorful and complex lives of those affected by prejudice.
Spears was born in St. Louis, Missouri in 1979. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Missouri–Columbia in the year 2000, followed by a degree from the St. Louis College of Pharmacy in 2003.
In addition to writing, Spears has had a successful career as a pharmacy owner-operator in St. Louis. She currently serves on the board of directors for a number of charitable organizations and is a passionate advocate for LGBT+ rights.
Spears is the author of numerous novels, most notably the best-selling ‘The Other Side of Heaven’ series, which follows the story of an abusive relationship.
