Kevin Cashman
Kevin Cashman is one of the most influential thought leaders in the field of personal and organizational leadership. He has written or co-authored several books on the subject and has spoken at numerous conferences and workshops worldwide. With over three decades of experience in leadership, Cashman has appeared on television and given interviews for multiple publications.
Cashman was born in Denver, Colorado, and originally studied engineering but eventually switched to psychology in order to gain a more complete understanding of the human experience. He eventually earned his MBA at the University of Denver and went on to become a corporate trainer, consultant and executive coach.

As an author, Cashman is most famous for his book Leadership From the Inside Out. In the book, Cashman argues that leaders do not need to have all the answers and that the true definition of leadership is found within. He argues that leaders can be successful by self-exploration, acceptance and understanding of their personal strengths and weaknesses. He further goes on to discuss the importance of developing relationships with and inspiring others to contribute to the good of the whole.
Cachman’s other books include The Pause Principle: Step Back to Lead Forward, which focuses on the need for intentional pauses in life to reconnect and recharge, and Activate Leadership: The Practice, Possibilities, and Principles of Everyday Leadership, which highlights the need for authentic, sustainable leadership in the world.
In addition to his writings, Cashman is also an active speaker and mentor. He has spoken at events like the Fortune Most Powerful Women Summit and the European Conference on Leadership and the Global Leadership Summit and has spoken and worked with companies such as Intel, Xerox and Pioneer. Cashman also recently partnered with the Korn Ferry Institute to create the International Leadership Development Symposia, which travels the world to provide development and support to managers and leaders worldwide.
