Lawrence Cunningham

Lawrence Cunningham is an accomplished author, editor and law professor at George Washington University, best known for his works focusing on law, politics, and business. He has published over fourteen books, countless articles, and countless magazine articles. Cunningham was born in the United States in 1961 and spent most of his childhood in Washington, D.C. Among his most notable works in this period was The Christian Consumer: What to Buy, How to Buy It, and How to Keep It, which was praised by several leading theologians and economists.

In the mid-to-late 2000s, Cunningham began to focus his writing on history and economics, with several of his most popular books in this era being The Creed of Law and Economics, The Consumer Price Index and Federal Reserve System, and Personal Savings, Social Security and Medicare. In those books, he discussed economic theories, the role of the government in influencing economic behavior, and the relevance of international law, among other topics. His books all proved to be immensely successful, and he is often cited in court decisions and in scholarly textbooks due to his expertise in this area.

In the present day, Cunningham’s works have continued to focus on the business and law worlds, as he has produced several influential books and articles for corporate executives, lawyers, and intellectuals. Among his recent works is The Story of Law, a comprehensive book on the history of law and legal theory which has been praised for its clear and concise approach. In addition, his most recent book, Rethinking Wealth and Power, is an exploration of wealth and power in the modern world, and seeks to question the purpose of these social systems and their effect on people.
