Michelle D. Seaton

Michelle D. Seaton is an American author of science fiction and romance novels. She was born in Richmond, Virginia and currently resides in Dallas, Texas. Her writing style is often referred to as beautiful, engaging, and imaginative.

Seaton discovered her love of reading and writing at a young age, and pursued a degree in English from the University of Virginia. After graduation, she went on to work as a computer programmer before trading her keyboard for a pen.

Seaton’s first novel, Destiny’s Angels, was published in 2011 and quickly earned critical acclaim. The story follows the three angelic sisters, Adara, Kaela, and Hecate, as they navigate the dangers of their mission to protect humans from a powerful evil. Despite the threat of their mission, the trio discovers that their greatest enemies may be their own insecurities.

Since then, Seaton has published numerous books, including fantasy and romance. Her follow-up novel, Nightchild, tells the story of Cerissa, a human girl who discovers she is a powerful witch. She must learn to understand and control her magic powers before an age-old prophecy threatens to destroy the world as she knows it.

In 2014, Seaton published her most acclaimed novel to date, Legacy of Light. It follows the journey of Brystal, a powerful healer whose gift of being able to communicate with animals and understand their needs puts her in great danger. After a tragedy leaves her family in peril, Brystal must rely on her strength, courage, and intuition to discover her true purpose and save her village from destruction.

In addition to writing novels, Seaton has also written short stories, articles, and poems. Her works have been featured in numerous publications, including Witch House and Dark Matter. She is a frequent contributor to the indie book site Litup and The Alliance, a nonprofit organization led by activist and entrepreneur Peter Diamandis.

Seaton loves to write stories filled with enchanted creatures and complex characters who struggle between the dark and light. Her work has been honored with awards from the New England Book Festival, the Missouri Writers' Guild, and the International Book Awards.

Seaton is devoted to giving back to her community. She is an active member of the Dallas Writers' Guild, a nonprofit organization devoted to helping aspiring writers develop their skills and gain support from like-minded professionals. She also created the Seaton Writers' Scholarship, an annual award that helps aspiring authors pursue their dream of becoming published authors.
