Ned Johnson
Ned Johnson is a Canadian author and illustrator of children's picture books and middle grade novels. Later, he decided to pursue publication and wrote his debut book, the rhyming picture book The Alligator That Was Too Big (1997). Johnson is a supporter of children’s literacy, particularly among underserved disenfranchised communities. He regularly appears at schools, libraries and bookstores, where he talks to children about writing and illustrating. He was recently appointed to the board of elementary school directors of the Toronto Public Library.
