Pat Flynn

Pat Flynn is an American entrepreneur, author and podcaster. He is best known for his work in online business and digital marketing. He has written multiple books that focus on helping people reach their full potential and grow their business.

Flynn was born in Rhode Island in 1982. He attended the University of Rhode Island and graduated with a degree in Architecture in 2005. After college he worked as an architectural intern. He moved up to become an Estimator for a Boston-based architectural firm, but after 8 months he felt the job wasn’t right for him.

He moved to San Diego and got a job as an Architectural Project Manager. In 2008 he had the idea to start a podcast and wrote a blog to go along with it. His blog is called “Smart Passive Income” and the podcast is called “The Smart Passive Income Podcast”. Both grew quickly and have helped Flynn reach a wider audience.

In 2010, Pat Flynn wrote his first book called “Let Go: A Small Business Guide to Releasing Fear and Embracing Change”. It was published by McGraw-Hill and quickly hit the best sellers list. Through the book, Flynn shared his experiences with business and life in the hopes of motivating and inspiring others.

His writing has been published in Entrepreneur Magazine, The Huffington Post, and Wired Magazine. Flynn is also a member of the Forbes Coaches Council, where he writes about everything from building a business to finding your purpose.

In 2012, Flynn released his second book, “Will It Fly?” which focused on how to test business ideas before making any investments. It was also a New York Times bestseller.

Flynn’s third book was released in 2016, it was titled “Superfans: The Easy Way To Stand Out In Social Media”. In this book Flynn gave advice on how to use social media in order to grow a loyal customer base and build a brand.

In 2020 Flynn released his fourth book, “Will It Fly: The Complete Guide to Testing Your Next Business Idea”. This book was a comprehensive guide to testing ideas to help people understand their potential and make successful business decisions.
