Patrick D. McCarthy is an author, speaker, and consultant who has written several books on business growth, strategy, and sales maximization. He is a regular contributor to Forbes magazine and has been featured in Time magazine and The Wall Street Journal. McCarthy is also the founder of The McCarthy Group, a strategic planning consultancy.

McCarthy has always had a passion for business, becoming an entrepreneur at the age of 12 by purchasing baseball cards from his peers and reselling them. By the time McCarthy was an adult, he had developed a successful chain of discount stores in the northeastern United States. McCarthy continued to write, releasing 4 pillars of Profitable Growth in 2012, which discusses effective strategies for businesses looking to grow, regardless of their size or industry. It lays out a complete roadmap for building a sustainable, profitable business.

In 2013, McCarthy published The Little Book of Big Sales, a guide to sales techniques that will help business owners thrive in the highly competitive market. He provides simple steps for developing effective techniques that will help businesses convert leads into sales.

In 2017, McCarthy released his fifth book, The Art of Strategic Living. This book explores how to maximize your potential and develop sustainable business practices. He provides valuable advice on how to succeed professionally, while also living a balanced life outside of work.

McCarthy continues to provide seminars, workshops, and coaching sessions across the United States, helping business leaders identify appropriate paths to growth. His skills have also been heavily sought after as a consultant and speaker, primarily focusing on topics related to maximizing business potential, fighting trends, removing barriers, and properly utilizing resources.
