By delving into the history of our political foundations, Ryan explores how partisan politics have shaped issues such as civil rights, immigration, and foreign policy. He also examines how individual decisions have shaped the direction of our government, from Richard Nixon’s decisions to Reagan’s reign.

In addition to his books, Ryan is a prolific opinion columnist and has been featured in publications such as The New York Times, The Washington Post, and The Wall Street Journal. He is a senior fellow at the Claremont Institute and serves on the board at the Center for American Studies at Liberty University.
