Richard Betts is best known as the author of several different novels and short stories. He served as the co-producer on several feature films, including 2010’s Drama/Comedy “First Time Kiss” and 2011’s mystery-thriller, “The Scarecrow”. He has also written the screenplay for the documentary “The Story of the Green River Killer.”

Recently, Betts returned to his roots and released a new collection of short stories, What You Can See, in 2020. The book explores stories of growth and redemption, often through personal struggles and joyous moments. Betts’ signature style of writing is still present, as he allows readers a glimpse into the complex characters in his stories.
