Sarah Elk was born on April 25, 1986 in Orlando, Florida. As a young girl, she developed a deep love for literature, often reading throughout the day and night. From a young age she was a natural storyteller, creating fantasy tales and adventures for her friends and family. The idea for her first novel, The Eye of Memory, was born after she read a book about ancient Egypt and was inspired by the magic and mystery of the ancient world.

Growing up, Sarah Elk was passionate about books, but it wasn't until she became an adult that she truly began pursuing her passion for writing. She enrolled in classes at The University of Central Florida, and graduated with a degree in Creative Writing for Children and Young Adults. After graduating, she worked as a freelance writer, writing articles and short stories for publications, including the Orlando Sentinel. She finally decided to take a leap of faith and pursue her dreams of becoming an author.

In 2018, Sarah Elk released her very first book, The Eye of Memory. The novel follows Ailea, a young girl whose life is changed forever when an unexpected visitor gifts her with an eye of memory. After the strange event, Ailea discovers that she has the power to enter the minds of the dead and learn their secrets. Ailea embarks on a thrilling quest to harness her newfound powers and uncover the mystery behind the eye of memory.
