Scott Galloway
Scott Galloway is an American author, speaker, and professor of marketing at the NYU Stern School of Business. He is also the founder of business intelligence firm L2 and the author of several books on business and technology, including The Four: The Hidden DNA of Amazon, Apple, Facebook, and Google, The Algebra of Happiness, and The Touchpoint Solution.
Galloway was born in Westwood, California and grew up in Fresno, California. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from Stanford University in 1992 and did his MBA at both Stanford Graduate School of Business and Harvard Business School. After graduating, Galloway founded his first business, Red Envelope, an online retailer.
In 2001, Galloway founded L2, a business intelligence firm, which analyzes brands and their digital activities. He is a regular panelist on CNBC’s Squawk Box and a frequent keynote speaker at events around the world. In 2012, Galloway began teaching at NYU Stern’s MBA program. In both 2018 and 2019, he was named one of “The World’s 50 Best Business School Professors” by Poets&Quants.
