Michael Bungay Stanier
Michael Bungay Stanier is the author of the acclaimed book The Coaching Habit, a step-by-step guide to unleashing the potential of individuals and teams. Through his books, lectures, and workshops, Stanier has established himself as a well-respected thought leader in the fields of coaching, consulting, and leadership development. He has been featured in the likes of The Harvard Business Review, Fast Company, and Forbes and is a frequent keynote speaker at conferences around the world.
Born and raised in Tasmania, Australia, Stanier earned a PhD in Cultural Studies from the University of New South Wales. After completing his doctoral studies, he moved to Toronto, Canada, where he founded Box of Crayons, a consulting firm that pioneered ‘coaching in a box’. He also launched their coaching and training program, ‘The Coaching Habit’, which today continues to meet the needs of more than one hundred corporations, non-profits, and universities.
In 2007, Stanier released Do More Great Work, his first book. It tackles the problem of too much work and not enough time.
